Anthony Nathan Thompson isn’t your typical American kid, he’s got problems and they go beyond teenage hormones. Evidence of superhuman abilities have been surfacing, such as super strength, speed and healing. But none of those concern him more than his constant out of control libido.

Nate suspects his abusive father experimented on him. As a way to blow off steam and escape his problems Nate sneaks away on an impromptu vacation. And so, the summer after he graduates High School he decides to visit his grandfather in Mexico.

That’s when things start to go wrong. Soon Nate soon discovers a conspiracy of global proportions all centered on him. Nate finds himself chased and shot at by two secret societies, both hell-bent on getting their property back - Him! Nate has to learn to use his powers and fast before everything and everyone Nate loves is taken from him.

“Altered” is the first person account of our hero Nate, set in an alternate universe of modern day Earth. Aliens exist! Hybrid aliens have lived amongst us for hundreds of years! Secret societies rule nations and have advanced technology that the public has only just started dreaming of.
